Burn Injuries – CCT

Burns for the flight and critical care paramedic. In this course, we will discuss burn injuries, fluid resuscitation, and hemodynamic management of the burn patient. This course is one module of Flight & Critical Care Review and covers the following objectives in Burn Injuries-

• Burn and heat injury assessment
• Fluid resuscitation
• Pain management
• Inhalation injuries
• Escharotomies

The objectives for this course are aligned from the Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C®), Critical Care Certification (CCP-C®) and the CCEMTP® outline; creating a comprehensive list of critical care objectives.
