MEDEDNOW TEAM

Dr Jacob Weinstein DNP is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from Georgetown University with a Master of Science in Nursing and completed his Doctorate in nursing from the University of South Alabama, with a cardiovascular subspecialty. Jake started in healthcare 20 years ago and continued in various roles; flight paramedic, emergency nurse, cardiac ICU nurse, and Hospitalist NP. He is the Chief Learning Officer of MedEdNow and Owner of Mobile Care Health both located in Denver Colorado. In his free time, Jake is found skiing, hiking, at CrossFit, or riding his Harley around Denver. Read our mission statement to learn more.

Dr. Kahre is a board-certified emergency medicine physician from southern Indiana. She completed medical school and residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Kahre has had a special interest in EMS since a young girl, growing up around the fire service with a father who was a Paramedic and Fire Chief. After high school, she obtained her EMT certification and worked in a local ER and ambulance during college. In residency, Dr Kahre participated in the EMS track at IU gaining more focused training on being an EMS medical director. Since graduating residency in 2015, Dr. Kahre has worked in the ED of a level 2 trauma center while serving as the EMS medical director as the Supervising Hospital. She currently is the medical director for a hospital-operated county 911 service, an event medicine EMS service, a local paramedic program, and MedEdNow. When not busy with work, Dr Kahre enjoys spending time and traveling with her paramedic husband and their two active little girls.

Michael is from Milwaukee, WI, and has been working in the restaurant and hospitability industry for over 20 years. He has served as a restaurant district manager with a focus on human resources and compliance for a restaurant group headquartered in Houston, TX. Just before joining MedEdNow he was Director of Operations for a consulting company that helped bars and restaurants meet legal requirements and raise their bottom lines. After Covid hit he brought his vast human resources and customer service management experience to our team. Michael is a foster dad for dogs, he drives to shelters in Oklahoma every month to bring back dogs so they can be adopted. We are lucky to have him on the team, and so are the dogs!
