Environmental Emergencies – CCT

Environmental Emergencies for critical care and flight paramedic. In this course, we will review assessment and treatment of patients who have endured environmental medical or trauma emergencies. This course is one module of Flight & Critical Care Review and covers the following objectives in Environmental Emergencies-

• Modified assessment
• Heat and cold emergencies
• Altitude and diving emergencies
• Diagnostic limitations
• Laboratory limitations and alterations

The objectives for this course are aligned from the Flight Paramedic
Certification (FP-C®), Critical Care Certification (CCP-C®) and
the CCEMTP® outline; creating a comprehensive list of critical care
objectives.
