Medical helicopter transport safety is the first step in starting any flight position. This course is one module of Flight & Critical Care Review and covers the following objectives in helicopter transport safety:
- Ground safety – vehicles and aircraft
- Transport equipment
- Securing patients and patient safety
- Hazards and corrective actions
The objectives for this course are aligned from the Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C®), Critical Care Certification (CCP-C®) and the CCEMTP® outline; creating a comprehensive list of critical care objectives.
