Medical Emergencies – CCT

Medical emergencies for the flight and critical care paramedic. Complex medical patients on multiple infusion, vented and with circulatory assist devices, frequently require expert flight paramedics and nurses to transport to a higher level of care. This course is one module of Flight & Critical Care Review and covers the following objectives in Medical Emergencies-

• Sepsis
• Gastrointestinal and Renal emergencies
• Coagulopathies and environmental emergencies
• Hemodynamic management
• Laboratory guided treatment
• Advanced pharmacology

The objectives for this course are aligned from the Flight Paramedic
Certification (FP-C®), Critical Care Certification (CCP-C®) and
the CCEMTP® outline; creating a comprehensive list of critical care
objectives.
