OBGYN emergencies for the flight and critical care paramedic. In this course, we will discuss high-risk OB as well as gynecology emergencies that frequently require transfer to a tertiary care center. This course is one module of Flight & Critical Care Review and covers the following objectives in Obstetrics and Gynecological Emergencies:
- OB/GYN assessment
- Complications in delivery
- Medical emergencies in OB/GYN
- Trauma and bleeding in OB/GYN
- Transport considerations for OB patients.
The objectives for this course are aligned from the Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C®), Critical Care Certification (CCP-C®) and the CCEMTP® outline; creating a comprehensive list of critical care objectives.
