Responder Mental Health (F5 VILT)
Responder Mental Health is one of the most important issues facing fire/ems personnel. In 2017, 103 firefighters died of suicide when only 93 firefighters died in the line of duty.
Ems providers are just as likely to commit suicide as their firefighter counterparts. This live instructor-led training session VILT will discuss and review the skills to reach out and provide support to someone and or yourself when experiencing a mental health emergency.
This course is for the BLS & ALS Provider.
