Recognizing Impairment In The Workplace
The purpose of this program is to provide nurses and others with an in-depth understanding of impairment at the workplace.
Additionally, nurses and other healthcare workers will be educated on the proper channels for reporting impairment, including mandatory reporting law and reporting impairment that might constitute harm to the patient. Nurses will be able to distinguish between the different kinds of impairments and understand professional ethics involved in reporting.
