Description
Pediatric patients in arrest are unique mostly because the primary reason for Cardiac Arrest is respiratory in nature. Just like cardiac arrest in the adult patient, emergency providers often get tunnel vision and just “go through the motions” during the resuscitation. Even though that is an important part of resuscitation through pit crew cpr, it is also important to remember the medicine behind the actions. In this live, interactive VILT session, the educator will discuss and review pediatric arrest and a new concept called “Cockpit CPR”.
This session is for the BLS & ALS Provider
