Description
EMS Providers need to understand gastrointestinal issues faced when transporting a patient in a pre-hospital setting to be able to rapidly identify and provide early management to the patient during transport.
In this course, the student will review the anatomy and physiology and be able to identify certain medical emergencies faced during transport with a patient experiencing a gastrointestinal and or genitourinary emergency versus non acute GI concerns during transport.
