EMS Response to Genitourinary Emergencies
Every year thousands of patients are transported by Ems due to genitourinary emergencies. Having a basic foundation of anatomy and physiology of the genitourinary system as well as an overview of the types of medical conditions the critical care transport provider may experience are crucial not only for the patient, but for you as the provider to ensure proper assessment and treatment of the patient as a member of an advanced life support team. In this course, the student will review the anatomy and physiology of the genitourinary system along with different types of medical scenarios that the Ems team may encounter in the transport of these types of patients.
