End of Life Care and Pain Management

End of Life Care and Pain Management

The purpose of this program is to provide nurses and others with an overview understanding of the different types of EOLC (End of Life Care), such as Assisted Living, In-home care, Skilled Nursing Facility, Hospice Care and Palliative Care.

Nursing pain management is then discussed, with specific focus on end of life care. At the end of this course, students will be familiar with patient wishes and needs, financial support available to patients, and strategies for helping patients transition into EOLC.

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation
