This Bloodborne Pathogens Online Course is designed for those who are at risk for an on the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids. The course will review how to avoid exposure, what to do if exposed as well as how disease is spread in the workplace through bloodborne pathogen.
Students will be prepared to discuss specific pathogens and their respective signs and symptoms as well as how to prevent exposure. The following topics will be discussed or researched during the course of the class:
Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030) , Employee Pathogens Training , Epidemiology and General Symptoms , Types of Transmission , Disease Causing Agents, Prevention and Exposure Incidents
