Airway Management CCT

Airway management for the flight and critical care paramedic. Securing and maintaining the airway requires skill, knowledge, and practice. In this course, we review advanced pathophysiology of airway management, including the use of medications to paralyze and sedate patients.   This course is one module of Flight & Critical Care Review and covers the following objectives in Airway Emergencies

• Basic and advanced airway management
• Failed airway management
• Rapid Sequence Intubation
• Starting mechanical ventilation

The objectives for this course are aligned from the Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C®), Critical Care Certification (CCP-C®) and the CCEMTP® outline; creating a comprehensive list of critical care objectives.
