MedEdNow is an accepted continuing education provider in Illinois as a CAPCE accredited program.  We also follow the guidelines of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).  You may be required to get your regional ems authority approval for online continuing education.

LPN licensure renewal: 20 hours of approved Continuing Education will be required for the February 1, 2017, through, January 31, 2019 license renewal cycle.

RN licensure renewal: be required for the June 1, 2018, through May 31, 2020 license renewal cycle” update to reflect the new end date of May 31, 2020. 20 hours of approved Continuing Education will be required for February 1, 2017, through, January 31, 2019 license renewal cycle.

If you are an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife or Clinical Nurse Specialist, your certification will expire when your RN license expires.

Note: Official verification or certification including issue and expiration dates with category/specialty, must be provided directly to the board by the credentialing agency. If available, online verification directly from the agency is acceptable.
